ECH001 (ECHODISK001) is the first instalment in a new single series curated by Flood. The aim of the series is to be a vehicle for the labels roster and other artists to churn out whatever sonic experimentations have been hidden below the surface.

Whether they’ve been lurking on a hard drive gathering digital dust in an unmarked folder, didn’t fit a release or the OG project file was lost to the abyss - these trax need to be out there.

An EchoDisk captures this immediacy - overwriting press related time constraints in favour of urgency and necessity - focused 'Short Plays' turned-over quickly - a factory line of club of material.

First up in the series is label co-boss Doubt with his split Collusion/Brain Zap single

"Initially I'd planned to release both of these tracks as part of a larger release which never properly panned out and I'd gotten pretty tired of the usual drudgery of release build-up and everything that goes with it. Collusion was built after watching a documentary on the topic in reference to Northern Ireland during the height of lockdown & Brain Zap came about last year after a prolonged spate of experiencing them - both are quite dark and pretty heady - 102 and 120BPM respectively - built for the murky clubs".
